Spencer Perkins was a giver; and when he gave, he gave with his whole heart. When he walked into the room, it began with the giving of his contagious smile. It not only would light up the room, but instantly made you smile. He was a friend to all; those he was close to, as well as those he was drawn to that needed a friend. His loving , giving spirit continued to pour out in subtle ways, such as feeding, clothing and giving to anyone whom he felt a need. The world lost our beloved Spencer to a tragic hunting accident September 17, 2010, at the young age of 17.  His heart for giving lived on. Spencer was the giver of the ultimate gift anyone can receive, the gift of life through organ donation. This would have made him very proud and smile even bigger. This priceless gift ensures Spencer’s love for life and getting the most out of it will live on. And what a legacy that is.
