Sammy was born in The Woodlands, TX on August 13, 1997 to Wayne and Dianne Blair.

Those who knew Sammy, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. His faith was at the center of his life and shown through in everything he did and said, even when — perhaps especially when — he was just goofing around with his family and friends.

From an early age, athletics was a very big part of Sammy’s life. He loved and formed lifelong bonds and friendships with each of his coaches and their families, teammates and their families and his host families. He was playing college baseball at Blinn when he passed.

Sammy also  enjoyed spending time outdoors, making people laugh (especially with his crazy new dance moves and silly antics), and doing whatever it took to make the people around him feel special.

Sammy LOVED to spend time with his family. Especially his nieces and nephews. He cherished them with all of his heart and would make time in his busy schedule to always give them special time together.

December 14, 2018, Sammy’s life was cut way too short in an unforeseen accident, but that same day, Sammy GAVE the gift of LIFE. He donated any and every organ that the doctors could use to give other people the chance at a happy, healthy life. We know that moment they received the call, their worlds changed for the better!

Sammy would have loved helping so many. We can’t wait to hear his heart beat again or hear his lungs take another breath one day! How BEAUTIFUL!

This was Sammy’s favorite bible verse. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6

While we may never understand why he was taken so soon from this world, we trust that he is in an amazing place.

Sammy is greatly missed but would want everyone to live life to the fullest and enjoy every moment! For that, we WILL!

We LOVE and MISS you, Sammy!
