My beloved daughter and mother Samantha Placeres, 19 years old. Has gone home to our Heavenly Father on 26 February 2013.

Samantha was a loving and caring mother. She loved her daughter Leann Faith Ruiz. She was a very beautiful, loving and caring, compassion person always put other people first. She touch allot of people in her 19 years of life. In her viewing service there were over 300 individuals attending and saying their last good-bye. She had a larger circle of families, friends and peers.

Samantha participated in sports, at age 4 years old she played soccer; she also participated in the SPURS Organization “Say No to Drugs” Basketball Team; played basketball in her Middle School, Longfellow, and in her freshmen year at Healy Murphy, San Antonio Texas she played volleyball. Samantha was a Christian, in her youth age she was active in church actives, fundraises, church worshiping team and attended the Columbus Texas Youth Conferences.

Samantha worked at Bill Miller Bar-B-Q Restaurant, there she performed various duties and responsibilities in different positions, including cashier, as a cashier she would always smile and greet customers. With her employment income she was raising her daughter LeAnn, she would buy Christmas presents for her immediate family.

Samantha was a caring person, she baby-sit her niece Halie while her sister Crystal would go to college and work. She was currently taking classes to achieve her GED, planning on getting her diploma and becoming a nurse, to take care of people with illness and diseases that are in need of caring, love and compassion.

Samantha last words at the car accident were” get out, get out and run”, she was not thinking of saving herself, she was thinking of saving her sister, niece and friend. As an organ donor Samantha has given the Give of Life to 4 recipients.
