Robby was 16 years old, 6’5” weighing 300 lbs. Given his size everyone called him  “Big Country”. 

On the evening of August 29th, Robby had been at a friend’s house. He and his friends had congregated around a parked car. Robby sat on the trunk of the car while another boy jumped on the front hood. Another friend entered the car and floored it. Robby hit his head on the bumper and ground and ended up being airlifted to the regional trauma center. 

Robby was able to save the lives of 4 people. It was something he had told me he wanted to do if anything ever happened to him. 

He loved people and he would do anything for anyone. He adored his little sister and his younger brother. 

I have spent the years since I lost him honoring his memory by working with other donor families and educating the public to promote donation.  

As long as I am sharing his story, he lives on and people help share his story.
