Michael was a E3 Fireman in the United States Coastguard station at Eatons Neck in NYC. He was headed back to his station after leaving his entire family from dinner the night he had that fateful motorcycle accident. We got the honor to meet his whole family eleven months after the transplant. My son and I met them on the OWN Network show ‘ Ask Oprah’s Allstars ‘. It was a total surprise to us and the beginning of a group effort by both families to share Michaels Legacy with the world. Until today we have met thousands of people in person and millions on social media. Our purpose is singular, to register organ donors everywhere and save lives.
