Marissa “Roo” Pummill was very dedicated to volunteering at animal shelters, foster programs and many other community programs. Roo, still a teenager, was a bright, compassionate rising star herself.

Unfortunately, tragedy struck October 2014 when Marissa “Roo” Pummill left this world behind her. Her passing was overwhelming. It devastated family, friends and the community, and still weighs heavy on the hearts of us all.

In true selflessness, Roo was an Organ Donor. Even in darkness there was a light she left behind in the multiple lives saved by her gracious gift, 6 to be exact. She is irreplaceable and dearly missed. Kellye (mom) was lucky enough to meet 5 recipients.  Ryan, kidney; Troy and family, liver; Ryan, kidney; Bill, lung; and Shyanne, kidney.
