Ezekiel J. Carlyle, 25, of Victoria, Texas, formerly of Port Lavaca, Texas passed away Saturday, February 2, 2013. Ezekiel was born February 15, 1987 to Tyrone and Linda Carlyle of Port Lavaca.

Ezekiel was a 2005 graduate of Calhoun High School. He attended Austin Community College, Victoria College and graduated from Victoria Beauty College. At Victoria College, he took Millwright classes to further his career. “Zeke” worked very diligently as a millwright at Infinity at Formosa, and in his unoccupied time, he loved to cut men’s hair. With both of us being Cosmetologists, we planned to open our own shop one day. We met in Cosmetology school and we instantly clicked, we had an unbreakable bond.

Zeke and I had our little girl 2-20-11 and were finally married on 11-17-12. It was my dream come true to be married to such a wonderful man and AMAZING father. I could not have asked for more.

Zeke was a man of personality. His comicality, one of his best characteristics, made him man of the crowd everywhere he went. He could talk to anyone, like he knew them forever, and wouldn’t hesitate making anyone a victim of his levity. Zeke was born a family man. He enjoyed spending time at home with the family, taking his baby girl on outings, fishing, playing Texas hold ’em, and when he had the chance, having a night-out with his closest friends. Zeke was a cherished husband, Daddy, son, brother and grandson. Zeke loved making people laugh and loved pulling pranks on his friends and family. Always laughing and smiling, he could walk into a room and brighten anyone’s day! He was always pushing harder to give his family more, a very hard working man and he loved his job.

Zeke was a very giving person. One day as I was registering myself online to be a donor, he said, “I WANT TO DO THAT!!” Our family is so, so proud of our hero! He will always be loved and missed by all. His Love, Legend and Legacy keeps us strong!
