In Memory Of Benjamin Mireles
God took an angel home today
When Ben Mireles passed away
His soul rose softly into the night
To meet his savior’s healing light
Wrapped in the arms of perfect love
He left to live with God above.
No longer on this earth is he
But live he does in memory
His winning smile, his tender heart
His gentle words remain a part
Of all who came to know his way
This angel God took home today.
We’ll never know the reason why
We’ll grieve, we’ll rage and still we’ll try
To find some sense in what will be
Another of life’s mysteries
That one so sweet, who graced our way
Was the angel God took home today.
