Ashley Garcia, born July 2, 1989 was made an angel way too early in June 2012 in a very bad car accident. She was a giving, caring person with a great sense of humor; everything became a laugh when she was around. Ashley loved everything Disney and music of all styles. Her siblings meant the world to her and she made a friend out of everyone she met. Five minutes with Ashley felt like a lifetime, she was quick to learn about who you are and quick to let you do the same.

Ashley has touched many lives, even after her passing. She registered to be a donor prior to accident; an option that was hard to understand and so unknown, but now has changed the lives of so many people. In life, and her tragic death, Ashley taught others the true meaning of life. Knowing who she was, it is no surprise that she would donate her organs to help another person live out their life. For Ashley, loved ones came in all types; family was extended and everyone became a best friend.

We are so proud of the gift she chose to give others and so thankful for the lessons we were able to learn from her at only 23 years old. Ashley was not a selfish person in life; she gave her heart and soul in everything she did and cherished every relationship as though it was her only one. Every moment was spent making long lasting memories and there is not a person in her life that does not have something amazing to share about her.

She will forever live on in our hearts, in the second chances she gave to others, and in the true life lessons she has taught us all. Ashley’s life was taken too soon, but she left an imprint on our hearts that will never fade away.
