Let me introduce myself! My Name is Alicemarie Siete-Nevel

On July 3 -1996 I Gave The Gift Of Life To My Mother, Frances Mary Olivare ! For many year my mother was sick off and on! She had diabetes and through the years it was getting worse, during the years we almost loss her a couple times, it was the worst! The worst heartache pain anybody can go through knowing she was sick and living 3 Thousand miles away, my mom lived in California and I lived in Illinois!

We were told that my mother would need a kidney! She was put on dialysis right away and was on dialysis already for a few years and within those couple years it was just tearing her apart and we knew that she had to have a new kidney and she was already 61 and we were told in order for her to get better she needed a donor so we all talked among each other and we all had our own reasons and so I got tested and found out right away that I was a match for my mother and that was the best news my mother heard, as soon as all my blood work was ready and done I was flown out to California on June 27 , and had a couple more tests done there before my kidney donation to my mother on July 3!

That day was here I was taken to the hospital and I was scared to death I was 36 years old had four small children at home but knew my mom needed my kidney to help her get better! The surgery was a success! She had my kidney for 11years 5 months! She passed from other medical problems in 2007! I had just celebrated my 26 Kidneyversary, and wish she would have been here with me! But I know she is with me everyday watching over me from above! Thank you! Alice
