Courtney Pugh
Courtney Lynn Pugh, 32, of Colorado Springs, CO left this world much too soon on February 13, 2022. She came into our lives on January 10, 1990, forever changing us with her beautiful soul, her caring heart, and her adventurous spirit.
Living the first part of her life in southern Missouri and the St Louis area, Courtney nutured her love of animals and nature while hiking the peaceful trails of the Ozark hills. She later discovered the beautiful city of Colorado Springs, fell in love with its awe inspiring mountains, and made it her new home. Here she was able to continue her passions of backpacking, painting, music, playing the ukulele and homemaking, her love of RPG games, especially D&D, and video gaming, along with any other new adventure or challenge which presented itself. As a Home Host Coordinator, she loved improving and enhancing the lives of her developmentally disabled clients. Her warm heart, bright smile and fun personality made her a natural in that field.
Although her journey on earth was unbearably brief, Courtney’s determination, courage, and wisdom helped her create a beautiful and meaningful life. Her impact on all those she touched will be her lasting legacy; her irresistable smile and infectious laugh will be with us always; her wit and sarcastic sense of humor will always make us smile, and her wisdom and her love will guide us all. Her love of her family was above all else. Courtney was always adamant about being a donor. I’m glad she got to fulfill that final wish of saving lives at the end of hers, our Hero, we will forever love.
