Our daughter had received two lungs; and gave two kidneys when she died at the age of 22 from Cystic Fibrosis. Her donor saved 4 people and Cora saved 2. Six years later, Nov 2015, our son, Jeb, died tragically. Influenced by Cora, he had signed his donor card and like Cora, he also gave his family the Gift of his Decision. His universal blood type allowed him to give sight to someone, allowed another to walk with his hip, and will heal, they say as many as 100 others with his many tissue donations. We find comfort in carrying out their final wishes and we know how pleased they are to leave this world, leaving gifts of life to others who will consider them their hero for the rest of their extended lives.
