Introducing . . . . . . . Bradley Jefferson Ellis

That contagious smile and infectious laugh . . . . Brad, our hero.

Bradley Jefferson Ellis was born on September 5, 1981 in Austin, Texas. Today, Brad is in Heaven. We could not be more proud of Brad and his decision to be an organ donor. Brad donated his heart, left kidney, right kidney, liver, pancreas, left cornea, and right cornea.

Brad was a loving Christian child, teenager, young adult, and was extremely close to his family, friends, and co-workers. Professional and detailed, Brad was also compassionate, gentle natured, sweet spirited, and a driven competitor. Many friends have shared they are better people for having Brad in their life. Brad attended Lake Hills Church in Austin, Texas.

Brad grew up in the Lake Travis community, and attended Lake Travis elementary, middle and high schools. Brad graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2006 with a Master of Professional Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration. Brad was employed by Ryan LLC, a professional global tax services firm, as a senior consultant.

Brad absolutely loved the outdoors from a very early age. He was an avid sportsman with a particular love for bow hunting. Brad enjoyed traveling to South Africa, Alaska, and other states across the US, and spent many happy weekends with family and friends at ranches in Texas. He was also a sports enthusiast and loved his Texas Longhorns. Brad enjoyed playing football and baseball for many years of his life.

Brad had a passion for excellent health and fitness and inspired others with his healthy lifestyle. He was an excellent cook and was particularly proud of his grilling skills, often texting pictures of his culinary accomplishments to friends and family.

Brad was called Home on June 11, 2012 while participating in the Texas Water Safari, a competitive canoeing event he was very excited to be part of and trained extensively for.

It is our distinct privilege and honor to acquaint you with Brad, our amazing son, brother, family member and friend.

Blessings,

The Brad Ellis Family
