Dwight “Moose” David Griffith began his life journey on December 19, 1981 in Duncan,
Oklahoma. He grew up in a small town in Southern Oklahoma called Velma and went to the elementary school there and then moved to Lubbock, TX in 1993, where he finished his schooling and graduated in 2000! During his senior year of high school he moved out on his own and kept his high school job working at Bigham’s Smokehouse Bar-B-Q. A few years after being on his own, he moved in with his dad and quit Bigham’s Smokehouse Barbeque. After working for Bigham’s for a couple of years, he got a better job working as an electrician for South Plains Electric Co-op. He got tired of Lubbock and decided to move to a small town -  Dickens, Texas, out in the country. In Dickens, this is where he found the love of his life, Trisha Charlene.

While living in Dickens, he got a job at the local hardware store in Spur, Texas. There he met a guy named Levi, and formed a band called Smoke Ring, which later dissolved. Dwight took on a second job at the Dixie Dog, being a cook. Later, Dwight then met some friends and they formed a band called “Eighteen68.” They played a lot of gigs together.

In 2006, Dwight got offered a job at Halliburton in Duncan as a Cementer, which he accepted the job. Dwight moved from Spur, Texas to Velma, Oklahoma. Dwight did so well they sent him to school up in South Dakota, to get certified as a Senior Cementer. Dwight loved working for Halliburton. He worked really hard at whatever he did, no matter how tired he was.

In April 2008, Dwight got married to the love of his life. Dwight worked for Halliburton until his death, March 18, 2009, when his and his wife’s lives were taken by a drunk driver. Both Dwight and Trisha were very good kids and would give anyone the shirt off of their back to help anyone. They both were organ and tissue donors.
